DIY-Midnight Madness-Glitter Pumps

I just finished revamping a pair of royal blue Steve Madden pumps I had sitting around in my closet. A few squeeze's of Gem-Tac glue & applying teal glitter and VOILA! I now own a pair of teal glitter pumps:-D I also had a pair of purple SM pumps in my closet wasting away and decided to revamp those too. I added a heart in gold glitter and a thin line down the back of the heel. I'm currently rummaging through my closet to see which old shoe is next at becoming "new" again :-)

Nail Trends-Louboutin Nails...

Nail's are quickly becoming a woman's favorite accessory, I've seen plenty of nail trends and the thought process behind some of these concepts are amazing!! I recently saw a pic of these Louboutin nails and I am loving the concept!! Being a proud owner to a very special pair of Pink Glitter Louboutin's, I can't wait to buy some pink glitter polish, try this trend out for myself & rock them with my Loubs ;-)

Sally Hansen Salon Effects Nail Polish Strips $9-$10



My good friend Yaina recently twitpic'd a pretty picture of her nails, It looked like a design you get at a professional salon and I asked her which one she went to. To my surprise she told me she did them herself! She then explained that she used the Sally Hansen Strips & that they were pretty easy & only $10 and they can last up to 10 days!!! I am speeding to the nearest drugstore to purchase them for myself and see how well they work! If you try them, send me a pic so that I can post them :-)

*Update* After my cousin Sharmy tried out the nails and told me how easy they were to do & how good they looked, I finally made it out to Target to buy some for myself, I bought the grid design "Misbehaved" and the leopard design. I put on the nail strips and was so surprised at how well they went on and how great they looked!! I recommend these strips to everyone who doesn't have time to make it into the nail salon every week (like me) they look great, like they were professionally done.

Spring/Summer '11 Trend-Wedges

Now I'm a fan of gorgeous stilettos & pumps, but while they look good on your feet, wearing 4-6 inch heels for more than 30 mins can cause a major foot-ache. I love wedges because they provide sturdier support and a slightly different look.

Seeing Double-Rihanna

I wore this dress on New Years Eve 2009, It was made by my best friend's younger sister Vivian, She is an up & coming designer & an all around fashion junkie like me! Not only does she make her own designs and custom pieces, she also makes variations of awesome fashion pieces. When I first approached her with this pic she was excited but a little hesitant because of the complexity of the shoulder detailing... the end result was nothing short of Amazing! I Am An Avid Shoe Lover, I love the way a great shoe accentuates your outfit and adds something extra to it! My shoe addiction has become so bad that last year I actually gave up shoe shopping for Lent lol. I've calmed down a lot since then but whenever I see an amazing pair of shoes that are reasonably priced I purchase them.

How gorgeous are these shoes!! I love the different pastels and platform on the Lime Sours, even though i'm 5'10 I LOVE a tall heel and the way it accentuates your feet. This is a small preview of what Kandee Shoes has coming up for their Spring Summer collection! I love how they have cute names for their shoe styles, it gives them a little more personality and and identity. They also have a their first handbag coming out for spring! From the sneak peak picture it features leopard detailing which is a Must Have for my closet! I can't wait to see the final product :-)
